About Department
The Department of English was established in 1960. In its long and distinguished history,
it has attracted some of the best scholars and intellectuals. Today it offers following courses:
- Under Graduation in English (BA)
- Post-Graduation in English (MA)
- Ph.D. in English
The Department provides intensive mentoring to our students both in and beyond the classroom in a wide variety of forums. Ongoing lectures, paper presentations, symposia, conferences, and colloquia on interdisciplinary themes make up our calendar. The department boasts of an illustrious alumina from Principals of schools, journalists, academicians, Lecturers, teachers etc.
