About University Logo
The University’s crest contains the name of the University and the motto of the institution. The logo shows the local flavor of the Jharkhand state. Situated in the beautiful surrounding of Dalma Mountain the university logo consists of sal leaf often termed as House of Tribal goddess and the palash flower found in abundance in the region. The elephant in the logo is the state animal of Jharkhand and symbolizes the determination. The torch in the middle symbolizes the burning desire of the aspiring students to gain knowledge. The logo is conceptualized, designed and created by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor Prof.(Dr.) Anjila Gupta.
