About Department
Department of Chemistry at Jamshedpur Women’s University was established in 1972. Undergraduate Courses were started from 1975 and Postgraduate Courses from 1985. The department offers Chemistry Courses (Core as well as Electives) for Undergraduate Programme and Postgraduate Programme with different specialisation. The department also has facilities for Ph.D. Programme in Chemistry. To cater to the need and to groom the interest the Department of Chemistry has well equipped laboratories for conducting practical classes
